These are indeed our rock gates at Uschowa. The impressive arches made of stone and rock were shaped over millions of years by Mother Nature and are available to us as a natural monument. Through the rock gates, you have a breathtaking view over southern Carinthia.

A2 - Exit Grafenstein via Tainach to Klopeiner See. From there continue towards Bad Eisenkappel. Drive over Paulitschsattel to the Alpengasthof Rogar. Start the route at Alpengasthof Rogar.
Our tip: A guide from the Karawanken UNESCO Global Geopark will accompany you on a guided hike to the rock gates. He/she not only knows the area inside out but also everything worth knowing about the geology of this bizarre rock landscape.
