The route then continues to Friesach, the oldest town of Carinthia, known for its medieval buildings, before returning to Althofen. Route course:
Start in Althofen: The route starts in Althofen, a historic town with a medieval atmosphere. From here, the route leads south to Kappel am Krappfeld.
Kappel am Krappfeld: After about 15 kilometers, you reach Kappel, known for its idyllic surroundings. The route continues southwest to Hüttenberg.
Hüttenberg: In Hüttenberg, after another 20 kilometers, you can visit the Heinrich Harrer Museum, dedicated to the famous Austrian mountaineer. The route now leads northwest to Mühlen.
Mühlen: After about 25 kilometers, you reach Mühlen, a charming place in Styria. From here, it continues to Friesach.
Friesach: After another 20 kilometers, you arrive in Friesach, the oldest town in Carinthia, known for its well-preserved medieval buildings. The last stage leads back to Althofen.
