You can comfortably ride this route with the e-bike. Starting from the art hotel Fuchspalast, which was designed by the artist Ernst Fuchs, the route mostly runs parallel to the Glan. After the indoor and outdoor swimming pool St. Veit, you ride through meadows and fields. You pass the Hörzendorfer See and then head back towards the old town of St. Veit/Glan.
The Fuchspalast forms the starting point of this route. Also visit the St. Veit museum and enjoy the atmosphere of the old town. About 300 m after the starting point, first turn left and then immediately right again, leading you to the energy site Kölnhof. Along Kölnhofallee, cycle past the train station to the railway underpass for cyclists and pedestrians onto Taggenbrunnerstraße. On traffic-calmed residential streets, after crossing Völkermarkter Straße, you reach the developed cycle path and the energy site Hallenbad. The route now leaves the built-up area of the city of St. Veit an der Glan and mostly runs parallel to the Glan through meadows and fields. From here, you can see the Sonnenpark Untermühlbach on the left. In Altglandorf, you cross the main road and turn right over a bridge across the Glan. After crossing the railway line, the Blintendorf industrial park extends to the right. After a short stretch along the Glan, you turn right and cycle on a varied section of the path to the Hörzendorfer See. In Hörzendorf, you are rewarded with a beautiful view over the Glan valley! Then the route follows the main road, which will soon take you to the St. Veit stadium. At this energy site, large photovoltaic systems are located directly on the stadium grounds. Immediately after crossing the Glan, turn right onto the R5 Glan cycle path. Along the Glan, you pass the energy site on the former landfill. After a short further section on the cycle path, turn left into Schießstattallee. At the end of the street, turn right towards St. Veit center. Those who want can walk the last part of the route from Oktoberplatz through the old town towards the Fuchspalast.
