The St. Andräer Jausentour is a family-friendly bike route. This tour offers not only cycling fun but also some culinary specialties. Along the route, there is the opportunity to strengthen yourself with a hearty "Lavanttal platter" and Lavanttal apple juice or cider.
This bike route starts in St. Andrä at the town hall square. From there, the route leads via Framrach and St. Jakob to the St. Andräer See recreational area. A jump into the cool water, the mini golf courses, and the beach volleyball court invite you to take a break. The route continues via Mettersdorf, Mühldorf, and Lindhof to Maria Rojach. In Maria Rojach, a cultural stop at the parish church Mariä Himmelfahrt is worthwhile. The path then leads to Farrach, where the Schildberger hobby farm with over 300 different animal species delights not only the young cyclists. Via Ragglach, Ragglbach, and Oberpichling, we continue to Gemmersdorf. Here, the Gemmersdorf Mill (foam mill) can be visited by prior arrangement. The ride continues to Hainsdorf, St. Ulrich, Mosern, Jakling, and Blaiken, then returns to St. Andrä.

If you have brains, protect them!
Wearing a helmet is a matter of course when mountain biking.
Proper clothing!
Even in summer, especially in the pre- and post-season, carry warm clothing and a spare jersey. At higher altitudes, bad weather without rain protection can be unpleasant.
Carry emergency equipment!
Bandages, bike repair kit (spare tube, pump, tools), map, mobile phone, and possibly GPS should always be with you (note: reception is not guaranteed everywhere in the mountains).
Drink constantly & eat in time!
Drink enough and plan a timely rest stop. A hunger break in the middle of nowhere is tough.
Adjust your speed!
Always ride defensively and only as fast as you can stop in time for obstacles or avoid oncoming traffic. Always be attentive. Cool are those who ride slowly past pedestrians and hikers.
Proper self-assessment!
Do not overstrain yourself or your companions. Plan reserves.

In autumn 1997, a foam mill was completed in Gemmersdorf on the Gemmersdorf creek, directly on the St. Andräer Jausentour.
