A hike along the water and nature The Acon, a discreet tributary of the Somme, winds peacefully through a landscape shaped by water and time. Throughout the route, you cross wetlands rich in biodiversity, bordered by reed beds and marshes, natural habitats for many plant and animal species.
A unique limestone hillside: the larris Leaving the lowland areas, the path leads you to the larris, those dry grasslands typical of northern France, perched on limestone hills. This sensitive and rare environment shelters exceptional flora.
A breathtaking panorama at Camp César The hike then gains altitude. After a steady climb, you reach the lookout of Camp César. There, an unobstructed view of the Somme Valley awaits you.
