The Bird Discovery Trail

A walking trail has been developed in Cléry-sur-Somme, allowing visitors to observe nature near the ponds.
The marked trail starts at Rue Anne-Marie Vion and runs along the ponds. It winds through varied landscapes rich in natural and historical heritage: an old train station that once connected Albert to Péronne, the remains of earthen embankments from the former feudal castle of “Nul s’y frotte,” bomb craters from World War I, and wet woodlands. It runs slightly away from the ponds so as not to disturb the birds.
Practical information: A large parking lot is available at the starting point, with two spaces designated for people with limited mobility, as the trail has been designed to be accessible to people with physical and visual disabilities.
