Lake Bohinj - Mostnica Schlucht - Planina Krstenica

Start at Lake Bohinj towards Stara Fuzina. From there, enter the Mostnica Gorge (entrance fee: €4, but it's worth it) and reach the Vojah Hut for a light refreshment. A short distance back along the asphalt, on the right (towards the west), is the entrance (no signs) uphill into the forest. At about 1,400 m above sea level, you reach a level area, where things get a bit more adventurous (fallen trees line the path; hiking trails are not always recognizable, so keep your eyes open and follow the trail markers). After about an hour, another short stretch through a forest, and the alpine pasture opens up with a beautiful mountain panorama. A break, including an alpine snack, is now well-deserved before heading back down the same route.
