S27 Burgaubergrunde

The starting point is the center of Stegersbach, at the bus station. From there, the path leads past the nursing home and the sports center. After that, it goes uphill through a shady forest into the so-called Stegersbacher Berge. Once at the top, a wide view opens over the Stegersbach center and eastward into the hilly landscape.

Then it goes downhill on gravel and asphalt roads through woods, interrupted by clearings, to Burgauberg. Here a short detour to the Burgauberg lookout tower is worthwhile, from where you can see far into the East Styria region – with the Riegersburg, which strikingly sits on a rock in the distance.

Back on the main route, the path continues to two dining options: the Kuruzzen Buschenschank and the inn "Der Trummer." After that, the route passes by the golf course, through small woods and clearings back to Stegersbach.

Passing by the HAK, the elementary school, and the modern Catholic church built in a stepped design, you return via the main square to the starting point at the bus station.
