B11 Leitha Cycling Trail

The B11 Leitha Bike Trail invites you to discover the diverse landscape between the Leitha River and the Leitha Mountains on two wheels. The approximately 60-kilometer route connects the Eisenstadt-Leithaland region with idyllic villages and winds past rolling hills, expansive vineyards, fertile fields, and shady forests.

The route runs mostly along well-maintained, paved bike paths and farm roads and is suitable for leisure cyclists and families as well as for more athletic cyclists. The few short climbs add variety to the route and are rewarded with beautiful views of the Pannonian landscape.

Numerous cultural and scenic highlights await along the route: In Eisenstadt, the historic old town and Esterházy Palace are impressive, while towns like Leithaprodersdorf, Stotzing, and Loretto captivate visitors with their regional charm and cultural treasures. The Loretto Basilica and the natural landscape surrounding the Leitha Mountains make the tour a diverse experience.

Leithaprodersdorf is a particularly delightful destination: the town is known far beyond the region for its numerous Heurigen and Buschenschanken.
