The garden rendezvous at western Lake Constance is this time hosted by private garden owners and professional garden designers. This route becomes a journey of discovery: city gardens transition into orchards and natural landscapes. The Höri peninsula turns into a vegetable garden. Here grows the Höri-Bülle (as the onion is called here), which only on these sandy soils can develop such a unique taste that its origin is now protected throughout Europe. In Iznang, the lake shore itself becomes a park. On the final section, the signs of the Lake Constance path inform about the fauna and water birds of this unique nature reserve in Europe along the Lower Lake and the Aach river.
At the tourist information centers in Radolfzell and Moos, you can get brochures for the garden rendezvous (with all addresses and dates) as well as for the Lake Constance path.
The route begins in the “most beautiful waiting room in Germany,” as the poet Ludwig once called the Radolfzell city garden. Past the station, where the tourist office provides all important information for food, drink, and accommodation, we switch to Seestraße and then turn right into Untertorstraße.
Leaving Böhringerstraße on the left, continue into Mooser Straße and immediately turn right into Herrenlandstraße, which leads us into the industrial area and straight out of town. At the left curve (end of the industrial area), go straight into the field path. Follow this to the first branch on the right and you are in 'Im Wiesengrund' of the Böhringen district. Second street on the left into Öschlestraße, from which Ulmenweg branches off to the left. Here, Gnädinger Garten and Landschaftsbau GmbH shows their landscaped garden, which transitions into orchards and the quiet reed landscape.
Back to Öschlestraße, then right into Franz Schanz Straße, left onto Achweg, and then crossing right into Brünneleweg. This ends in a field path that leads us to Rickelshauserstraße. Through the underpass at the station and over the state road goes past Rickelshausen pond to Überlingen am Ried. We turn left into Kirchstraße, cross the bridge, change left and follow the field path beginning below on the right, which curves through the Aachried to Böhringen. At the second roundabout, turn left through the old town center, enjoying the view of the green Aach valley (and perhaps a coffee?), then turn left into Fabrikstraße, where at number 29 the Gartenmanufaktur Siegwarth has created a 5,000 m² show garden directly on the Aach river.
Passing Ziegelhof, we drive now to Bankholzen. At the town exit to Weiler, “Garten und Freiraum” on the right shows how they design gardens. Continuing left to Bettnang and Weiler, where farm gardens line the way.
Now follow the main road north to the Iznang lake shore facilities (with café). The Lake Constance bike path takes us over Moos back to the parking lot on Zeppelinstraße or to Radolfzell station.
The parking lot is located on the district road to Moos; coming from the highway, follow the signs to Radolfzell (do not turn off to Moos at the Moos roundabout!). Follow the lakeside path (along the railway tracks) to the station.

Located off this route but still worth a visit is the landscape park on the Mettnau peninsula, with a beach café and observation tower in the nature reserve.
