The sun terrace at Hoadl-Haus and Birgitzköpflhaus is also open in summer.

The ticket office and access to the Hoadlbahn 10-seater gondola are located directly at the Axamer Lizum car park. From here, it's a quick and easy 6-minute journey to the Hoadlhaus panorama restaurant at 2340 metres and the starting point for many hiking and mountain tours in the famous Kalkkögel area, the North Tyrolean Dolomites. The access to the Birgitzköpfl double chairlift can be reached after a short walk, past the Lizum Alm mountain restaurant, in just a few minutes.

delights families, sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. The popular half-day and day excursion destination is only 19 kilometres from Innsbruck and can be easily reached by hiking bus.

The high alpine peaks with their steep rock faces and the lush green alpine meadows below are also affectionately known as the ‘Dolomites of North Tyrol’. The sunny Hoadl plateau at 2,340 m is always the centre of attention and is the perfect starting point and destination for various tours. Whether an easy family hike or a challenging mountain tour - there is a route for everyone on over 60 kilometres of hiking trails. Particularly popular and recommended is the ‘Herzlteichweg’ from the Hoadlbahn middle station or the wide ‘Panoramaweg Pleisen’ from Hoadl to Axamer Kögele. A hike to the Nockspitze or the Hochtennbodensteig from the Birgitzköpfllift mountain station to the Hoadl are also ideal for the whole family.
