1/ Enjoy a gentle warm-up walk along the path of little happiness to the charming hamlet of Collet. Then set out to conquer a slope that will scare you more than it harms you. Steps carved into the rock, crossing streams, and green meadows are on the menu for this first day. Gradually gain altitude to catch a glimpse around the bends of the Charbonnel, the Râteau d’Aussois, and the Dent Parrachée facing each other. With clear skies, you will have the chance to gaze upon these three emblematic peaks of Haute Maurienne Vanoise. That's enough to push you to the St-Antoine Oratory without any difficulty! The cowbells that regularly animate the alpine pasture announce your arrival at the Vallonbrun refuge. Who knows if you will meet the marmots that call this place home?
1/ Enjoy a gentle warm-up on the Chemin du Petit Bonheur to the charming hamlet of Le Collet. Then set off to tackle a slope that will scare you more than it hurts. Rock-cut steps, torrent crossings and lush green meadows are on the menu for this first day. Gradually gain altitude, and as you wind your way up the slope, you'll see the Charbonnel, Râteau d'Aussois and Dent Parrachée facing each other. With a clear sky, you'll have the chance to gaze at these three emblematic peaks of Haute Maurienne Vanoise. It's enough to push you all the way up to Oratoire St-Antoine! The clarines that regularly enliven the mountain pastures announce your arrival at the Vallonbrun refuge. Who knows if you'll meet the marmots who call this place home?
