Goldegg is well-known for the excellent possibilities for cross-country skiing. No less than 37 km of cross-country ski trails are spoilt troughout the region. In winters with less snow, some trails are snowed artificially!

The cross country skier gets to know the entire region on the best prepared cross-country ski runs in all levels of difficulty. Cross-country skis can be rented at the ski school / ski school "Rot-weiss-rot" at the Buchenberg ski lift station.
