Spend your well-deserved holiday at our beautiful and peacefully located farm. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Weerberg Asten alpine meadows, the opposite Kolsassberg mountain, and the magnificent Karwendel mountain range.
At an altitude of 850 metres, the Maxnhagerhof, run by the Sponring family, welcomes you to an idyllic setting surrounded by nature. Discover the charm of the picturesque village of Weerberg. For generations, we have maintained a warm and personal relationship with our guests, making everyone feel right at home.
Our riding facility has been established for over 10 years. We are happy to show you around the stables and provide more information about our boarding horses. Children are always welcome to lend a helping hand with feeding the animals, stable work, or even haymaking during the harvest season. ☺
The "Maximillian Hut" dates back to the time of Emperor Maximilian. Our farm is called Maxnhagerhof because this area was once part of Emperor Maximilian's hunting grounds. The hut originally served as his hunting lodge. We have carefully restored and modernised it while preserving its traditional charm, creating a cosy and authentic atmosphere.
Our guests are welcome to spend a sociable barbecue evening in the rustic Maximillian Hut. And if you're lucky, your host may even prepare an authentic Tyrolean specialty called Melchermuas for you – a traditional farmhouse dish with a long local history.
