Since summer 2025, on the walking route starting at Mollens to join the historic Tsaramelly trail towards Cordona, a new section and a new footbridge spanning the Sinièse have been built to prevent walkers from approaching the patous breeding area.

To reach Mollens by car, take the A9 highway exit (Rhône highway) called "Sierre west." At the highway exit, turn left and follow the signs indicating "Sierre." At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 500 meters and then at the entrance to Sierre, continue towards the city center. Cross the city center. Then head towards Crans-Montana via the Rawil road and then Montana road until the village of Mollens. The trip takes about 10 minutes from Sierre. Once you arrive at Mollens, follow the signs to reach the village center.
The SMC bus company departs from Sierre train station. You need to take the direction towards Crans-Montana via Mollens and get off at the stop: Mollens, Village.
