From Oetz, follow the river to the Weller Bridge. Through the forest, ascend slightly towards Habichen. At the crossroads, keep right and reach a beautiful and easy meadow path. This leads into an asphalt road. Follow the path over the wooden bridge to the Grassmayr family bell foundry house. Particularly interesting are the facades painted with frescoes. Passing the farm on the right, you reach the junction to Habicher Lake and the ice cellar. Due to currents inside the rock, the ice cellar constantly maintains 0-2 degrees Celsius.
Habicher Lake invites you to linger. There is also a treasure chest with the "9 Treasures" book.
On the way back, first return to the last junction and then left over the steep forest road (edge path) to the intersection with Elsinger Way. Follow this towards Oetz until the junction to Brandach Bridge. Past the small chapel, return to Oetz.

Alternatively, you can already hike through the "Lindenwald" to Habichen before the Weller Bridge, making the path to the lake suitable for strollers.
