Percorso Carì (SwitzerlandMobility 955)

The snowshoe trail starts from the ski lift ticket office and extends up to the intermediate station of the chairlift, where there is an inn with a panoramic terrace. Along the route, you pass through the localities of Prödor (1740 m above sea level) and Predelp (1670 m above sea level), where the splendid Capanna Prodör and the welcoming Agriturismo Alla Meta are located.

The passage through the Faura forest of Düisbina is impressive, where in the lower part you mainly find Norway spruce (Picea abies) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) while climbing up you encounter European larch (Larix decidua). The forest was planted in the early 1900s to protect Faido against landslides affecting the slopes of the Formigario stream. It is interesting to observe along the route the hydraulic engineering works that prevent water from eroding the mountainside.

The trail between Carì and Brusada is nicknamed the mountain farmer's path and is enriched by the presence of educational signs dedicated to the wildlife species living in the region.
