Vira Gambarogno-Monti di Gerra-Vira Gambarogno

Along the entire route you can enjoy a fantastic view of the lake. The slopes of Gambarogno, so sunny in summer, are also very popular for viticulture. Between Piazzogna and Vairano is the Botanical Park, where over 950 varieties of camellias and 450 types of magnolias grow. In Gerra, a short but steep climb leads to Monti di Gerra, a charming location surrounded by greenery. Retracing the same road brings you back to Vira; alternatively, it is possible to descend towards the lake to Gerra and follow the main road back to Vira. In Vira, there is Shaka Beach, a public bathing place perfect for ending the day in complete relaxation.
