Neustift-Brixen Törggele Circuit Trail

Our scenic tour starts in the large parking lot of the Augustinian Canons Regular Monastery.
First cross the bridge over the Eisack river and follow the country road from Engelsburg Castle slightly uphill to the east. Pass the kindergarten and fire station until arriving at a bend in the road. Turn left and continue along the flat road north to the path leading from the Ölackererhof farm to Köfererhof farm (rest stop). Turn right and cross the old Pustertaler Straße road before coming to a cluster of houses (Haus Karin). Then turn left and follow the trail (no. 4A/4) to the right, up to the vineyards and beyond, before arriving at a small ridge. As an alternative, take the path to the left past the Strasserhof farm (rest stop).

Coming down from the saddle, take trail (no. 6) southwards to the Pacherhof Wine Estate (rest stop). Then turn left past the new section of the farm before reaching the Seiserleite housing cluster. Follow the T sign and turn left into the forest, through a few hairpin bends before reaching a weather cross (rest stop). Head south along the trail (no. 15) to the Gasthaus Sunneg Inn (rest stop). After a short way, the path meets trail no. 16 before converging with the cycle track along the bank of the Eisack river. Head north on the cycle path, past the Löwenviertel housing cluster. After a gentle rise you come to the Weinhof Griesser Vineyard (rest stop). From here take the Höfeweg Farm Trail (trail no. 9) all the way back to the car park.
