R-EA-03 Northern Verbandsgemeinde Round Cycle Route Enkenbach-Alsenborn approx. 29 km

Start is at the Enkenbach-Alsenborn train station – we head left to the Barbarossa cycle path and follow it to the Klettergarten K1 – here turn right uphill to the cycle path along L 401 to Fröhnerhof through the western area of Mehlingen RZ-Abtstein – cross L 401 to reach the Mehlingen industrial area, immediately turn right and at the end turn left past the Becker company and then over the A 63 bridge – past the Jewish Cemetery – Mehlinger Heide – and at the second forest path turn right through the forest to Baalborn Steinstraße – after approx. 400 m turn left into the dead-end street to the old fountain house of Baalborn's water supply – back again and then left to the Wäschbrunnen – cross the street at the Millstone straight ahead and in the curve continue straight into Kehrstraße (the perfume museum is on the left - registration required) – continue to the Sembach sports ground – cross the A 63 again and also L 401 once more and ride through Sembach – main street – Kirchstraße – Mennonite Church – to the height where we see the US residential area Heuberg – turn right to the large oak – then left and now it goes for about 2.5 km on the cycle path along L 393 downwards to B 48 – in the curve turn right at the old boundary stone – crossing at the entrance to Heinzental, Eichenbacher mill – old Neuhemsbach station and ride through the village Heinzental – hanging beech – to Neuhemsbach – castle church – Randeckerhof – Kneipp facility to the Billesweiher which we circle – Billesweiher spring – and now ride on L 394 to the beginning of Alsenborn and turn first street left into Kinderlehre street – follow the signage for the Alsenz cycle path to the touristic Alsenz spring – Kneipp facility Alsen spring and swimming pool – Dieburg castle ruins as a gabion replica – now onto Burgstraße – from here follow the Barbarossa cycle path signage past the protestant church – Bajasseum – reaching the Elephant roundabout and crossing the railway line over the ramps up and down and returning to the station.
