The circuit combines two existing interpretation circuits: "The Louch waterfall and its footbridge" and "The chestnut grove and its vertigo trail"
From the parking lot, head a few meters towards the village center then turn left onto the Longon path. Cross the RM2205, join the bike path leaving the Guercha on your left then the Tinée. Cross the latter, then climb right towards the Louch waterfall. Follow this stepped path to join a good track (markers No. 4 and No. 15). Follow the track northwest, pass the Louch valley and take the path of the large footbridge to the right. After it, return to the parking lot via the ascent route. From the parking lot, continue east (markers No. 67 and No. 68) on a road that turns into a track then a path. At marker No. 70, take the hairpin and continue among the chestnut trees. At the end of the canal, retrace your steps to find marker No. 67a and return to the village.
Remarkable heritage elements of the village:
The Saint-Pierre bell tower, Romanesque from the 12th century, isolated at the entrance to the village is classified as a Historic Monument. This square three-story bell tower with a pyramid is the only vestige of the old Saint-Pierre church, devastated by a flood of the Guercha torrent in the 16th century. The Saint-Roch chapel: built in the 16th century to ward off a plague epidemic, it was restored in 1877. It houses a magnificent 12th-century painting and a very particular altar: a millstone hand-carved from stone. The Saint-Roch festival, held on August 16, is very popular. The baroque Saint-Pierre church, it has 6 altars including a Sacred Heart dedicated to Jesus and one dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The former Maison Gibert on the left bank is classified as a Historic Monument.
