PRAROSTINO Faro della Libertà Walk

The route starts from Piazza della Libertà in San Bartolomeo, turning right and immediately after turning left to follow the road; after the hamlet of Vottero and before reaching Casa Fornellata you find the sign on the left to climb into the woods via a path that runs alongside a stream.

Always following the signs you will reach the Brusà area, where the ruins of a house and a board briefly recount the events that took place there during the Resistance. After a short break, continue to reach the paved road, then passing through the areas of Topi and Trentacoste, you reach the road to the hamlet of Badoni, where there is a forest path on the left leading to the Martyrs of Bric memorial stone, where the sad events described on the third sign of the route occurred.

After this second stop you return to San Bartolomeo, passing near the hamlet of Molere and along a stretch of Via Massera. Finally, there is a must-see passage at the Faro Monument, dedicated to the fallen, inaugurated in 1967.
