The route of the third stage of transfer along the furrow of the Valle dell'Orco in 13 kilometers and with an intermediate difference in height leads to the hamlet of San Lorenzo in the wild and rocky Vallone di Piantonetto. From Noasca proceed downhill on the north-facing side of the valley running parallel to the state road. In Prà you cross the Orco stream and the state road and head steeply uphill along the opposite slope up to the Sanctuary of Sant'Anna in the Meinardi hamlet. From here, going up and down, continue in an easterly direction to descend towards the hamlet of San Lorenzo which can be reached along a stretch of carriage road. The itinerary has been promoted within the platform as part of the PITEM M.I.T.O. project. – Outdoor OFF - Interreg Italy-France Cross-Border Cooperation Program ALCOTRA 2014-2020.

From Noasca, follow the trail on the right bank of the River Orco which, crossing the chestnut groves, retraces the route of the old mule track to connect the hamlets of the valley. Close to the Prà hamlet, it is worth making a small detour to the Orco riverbed to appreciate the gorges that the river has cut into the rock. Having reached Gera, cross the River on two footbridges and after a short paved section, which crosses the Fei hamlet, climb on easy mule tracks, initially in the chestnut grove and then in the hazelnut groves. Having reached the altitude of 1500 m, on a short flat section to the right, you reach Meinardi with its Sanctuary dedicated to Saint Anna. The trail cuts the high slope proceeding almost flat with a long paved section that takes to the path of the former Electricity Company. Having travelled a section of the path you meet the trail that, on the right, descends steeply to the hamlet of Perebella. From the hamlet, a mule track is taken that reaches the road of Piantonetto after crossing the hamlet of Bertodasco. Having reached the paved road, climb the road to the left, uphill, for approximately 1 km, reaching the hamlet of San Lorenzo.
We recommend the use of waterproof boots, a windbreaker and trekking poles.
