The route offers an immersive experience in the area just a few steps from Cesana T.se, following the banks of the Ripa river and crossing flowery meadows along gentle slopes. The path allows you to explore the architectural wonders hosted by the territory and stop for a snack in nature. Also suitable for families: the route is partly on mixed surface trails and, in a few other places, on short stretches of lightly trafficked carriage roads.
The track does not pass near the parish church of San Restituto but a detour completes the experience! It stands outside the inhabited center, on the steep right slope of the Ripa torrent, surrounded by a low stone fence. Once it served as a fortified church: surrounded by a defensive and massive wall, it was indeed a shelter for the population in case of raids and wars.

The route starts near the Cesana Tourist Office: after crossing the flowered bridge, you follow the Ripa river until you reach the area near the restaurant La Trattoria del Centro in Bousson. In this first stretch, the surface changes from asphalt road to dirt and then forest path. After leaving the trail, follow the paved carriage road for 1.6 km towards Rollieres and cross the bridge to reach the trout nursery. Then continue with a slight ascent entering the woods and cycling at the foot of Cima Bosco until you arrive at Sauze di Cesana. After crossing the inhabited area, passing the characteristic parish church dedicated to San Giacomo and the central square with the Town Hall, return following the track towards Rollieres/Church of San Restituto. From this point, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama with views of the Church of San Restituto and Monte Chaberton in the background. In Rollieres, after passing the characteristic central square with oven and fountain, continue along a well-trodden path towards Bousson. Continue towards the Chapel of Cugnet, the Madonna del Ponte, and finally follow the last stretch of the track on asphalt towards Cesana Center.

From Torino follow signs for the Northern Bypass towards Trafori - Frejus.
Take highway A32 towards Bardonecchia and exit the highway at the Monginevro Sestriere exit. After the tunnel exit continue to the right towards Cesana and then Sauze di Cesana, arrival at Bousson

Train from Torino P.N to Bardonecchia (stop Oulx-Cesana-Claviere-Sestriere) + Arriva Bus line 285 from Oulx to Sestriere, stop Cesana or Bousson
