This loop will allow you to discover two of the major cols of the Pyrenees, notably the col d'Aspin, climbed 73 times by the Tour de France, and the more secret ascent of the Hourquette d'Ancizan. This latter col will take you past the foot of the magnificent Arbizon summit and lead you into the Payolle forest. The Hourquette d'Ancizan has been climbed 3 times by the Tour de France, the first time in 2011 during the Cugnaux-Luz Ardiden stage, via its South-East side.
