The two clubs form the community of interest Loipe Oberberg. The cross-country trail (skating and classic) is located on the snow-sure high plateau of the Oberberg at 1220 meters. With a length of 4 km, it has an altitude difference of approx. 65 m. 2.5 km can be lit as a night trail at any time with the main switch, which is located above the entrance door of the Oberberg restaurant. However, an additional headlamp is still advisable. As the last runner, please switch off the lighting again!
The cross-country ski trail Oberberg is connected to the Swiss cross-country ski trail pass.

Alternatively by train to Schwyz, train station then continue by bus in the direction of Muotathal (line 501) to the stop Ried cable cars Illgau-Ried-Illgau and Illgau-St. Karl/Vorderoberberg, 10 min walk along the winter hiking trail.
