Take the paved path that ascends between the fortifications and follow the red rectangle markers. After passing the Garden of Poets, the path becomes a forest trail. Continue to the Crow Rock, where a bench allows you to admire the viewpoint. Then descend on the trail to the D178 road. Follow it for about 400 m before turning right. Take the Sternthal forest path following the red signboard towards the path of the three rocks, then towards the Païens Rock. After a slight ascent, take the hairpin turn to the left and join the trail marked with a red diamond. After another ascent, reach the Païens Rock. Follow along the Païens Rock then follow the yellow cross towards the Grand Oak. At the intersection with the path marked with a yellow rectangle crossed with white, you can go to the Grand Oak by following the narrow path on the right. Then return to the intersection and follow the yellow rectangle crossed with white towards the White Rock. Take the second path going up to the left and follow it to the White Rock. Follow the yellow rectangle trail which descends to the right of the White Rock, then the yellow rectangle crossed with white path, to the left, to return to La Petite-Pierre. Once in the main street, turn right and continue straight to return to the Tourist Office parking.
