10 thousand steps of health FVG - MEDEA

The loop extends for about 4 km, inside the municipal park of Colle di Medea on both sides of the hill.

From the parking lot just below the church of Sant'Antonio, head right and you will find the stone staircase descending to the village. This side of the hill allows glimpses of and access to positions dating back to World War I: shortly after passing the staircase, you cross a path originally built as a military road. On a wide and easy dirt track, the path runs along the entire ridge and is called the "Panoramic Road". With a small deviation to the left, climb up to reach the King's Observatory. Returning to the path, continue and enter the woods. Here, you pass by the old stone quarry and climb until you almost reach the top of the hill. Just before the Ara Pacis, take the path to the right and descend crossing the woods for about 2 km. Upon reaching the end of the "Tal Bosc" path, you reach the asphalt road, cross it and climb up to the pine forest. A little further on, on the left, you encounter the Chiesetta di Sant'Antonio and thereby complete the loop.
