Cammino delle Pievi della Carnia Stage 5 from Villa di Verzegnis to Invillino – Villa Santina

The route starts from the Pieve in the direction of Chiaicis, passing by the “Stella d'Oro” restaurant and taking a path on the right that meets the provincial road near the “Acqua del Paradiso” spring. After 1.5 kilometers you reach the highest point of the trail (525m asl); 300 meters flat and then begins the scenic descent that ends after 2.5 kilometers at the bridge over the Tagliamento River at the height of the little church of Madonna del Ponte.

After crossing the bridge, continue for 1.5 kilometers to Invillino, then rightward through the village to climb to the Pieve. To reach Villa Santina, go down into the village and continue to the right for one kilometer following the crossroad to Verzegnis.
