Höllschlucht Hike » Kappeler Alp & Hündeleskopf Hut

The hike starts at the Kappel hiking parking lot (high ropes course). From here, a steep mountain path leads into the impressive Höllschlucht gorge. 

On the path through the Höllschlucht, you will pass several waterfalls. The sound of the water and the rugged rock walls make this passage especially impressive, adding a touch of adventure to the hike. Be careful on the trail, as it can be slippery in some places.

After crossing the gorge, you reach the pasturelands, across which the path leads to the Kappeler Alp. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and perhaps even see some cows in the pasture. The Kappeler Alp offers the opportunity to take a short break and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

For the return, you can take the route back to the Hündeleskopf hut. This cozy hut invites you to another stop and is known for its delicious vegetarian cuisine. This hike combines spectacular natural experiences with cozy places to stop and is perfect for anyone who wants to spend a beautiful day in the mountains!
