Over the Paradies to Kapf

From the station, past the church, along Schloßstraße up to the Hotel Allgäu Sonne. Continue along the road until just before the junction with the B308. There, turn right onto the footpath and steadily uphill into the Berg district. 

At the "Cafe am Paradies" it is worth stopping with a beautiful panoramic view from the terrace. From here, continue following the "Wandertrilogie Allgäu" trail along a meadow path to the summit of Kapf. This section impresses with a magnificent three-country view: over the opposite Nagelfluh chain, into the neighboring Vorarlberg, and toward the distant Swiss mountains Säntis and Altmann.

After the summit stop, we follow the blue markings of the Wandertrilogie through the Kapfwald until we meet the upper panorama path. From there, it goes down to the Kurhaus and through Oberstaufen PARK back to the station.
