Hike - Pömetsried circular trail

From the northern outskirts of town, past Vroni & Anne’s coffee house, the path turns left after 100m and leads through flat meadowland. After a gentle slope, you reach the Pömetsried estate, belonging to Schwaiganger. From there, you can either return to Ohlstadt via Schwaiganger or continue past the Pömetsried estate on the long circular hike through scenic and untouched areas to Achrain. From there, continue along the Loisach River, under the railway bridge to the Loisach bridge. Turn left there and go back to Ohlstadt via the hamlet Weichs (church).

NOTE: THE PATH BETWEEN PÖMETSIED AND ACHRAIN IS CURRENTLY IN VERY POOR CONDITION!

Bus lines: 9607 Murnau - Ohlstadt - Ettal and back (Note: service only on Saturdays during school days of the Ettal monastery school!)

9611 Kochel - Schlehdorf - Großweil - Ohlstadt - Murnau (Note: The open-air museum Glentleiten is served only from April to October!)
