The walk takes you through the beautiful snow-covered Black Forest village of Todtnauberg. If the weather is good, you can enjoy fantastic views of the Wiesental valley and, on a clear day, as far as the Alps.
From the Kurhaus in Todtnauberg, follow Radschertstraße uphill for a short distance before turning right into Hintermattweg after about 100 metres. Follow this straight ahead to the end. Follow the prepared path. Shortly after, turn left and continue uphill towards the Büreten district. Cross the road and continue along the path. On a clear day, you will have a fantastic view of the Alps. Continue straight on for the next 400 metres. The gently sloping path now takes you to Hornweg, where the winter walk ends. From here you can walk back through the village centre to the Kurhaus.
