Zwerenberg Village History Educational Trail
The approximately 7-kilometer-long fountain walk leads to the southern entrance of Zwerenberg, where you can learn a lot about what it meant to people before there was tap water. Along the way, you can...
The fountain walk can be nicely combined with a detour to Hornberg Castle or to the Baiermühle in the Köllbach Valley, where you can also dine on weekends or by prior arrangement.
From Petershöhe, the route goes through the lower village of Zwerenberg past various fountains to the southern entrance of Zwerenberg. Here you can see several farms and continue towards the village center, where you will pass the former schoolhouse, community center, church, and many other old buildings. Finally, you reach Zwerenberg's craftsmen quarter, where you can eat something at the Landgasthof Ochsen.
