Through the Lengenbach valley to the historic Burg Liebenzell

Past the town lake of Bad Liebenzell, the hike leads directly into the idyllic Lengenbach valley. Alongside the babbling Lengenbach, it goes through the valley to the Maisenbach sawmill. From there, it goes up towards Burg Liebenzell. The ascent is worth it, because from the castle tower, you have a wonderful panoramic view of the Nagold valley and the spa town. You can also catch a glimpse of the district Beinberg. It’s a nice place to stay up here! After descending from the tower, the trail leads back into the forest. Between spruces and pines, it goes in the direction of Rattenkönig. From there, it goes slowly downhill back to Bad Liebenzell. Along the Nagold, you reach the Kurhaus and the idyllic spa park again.
