Circular route from Titisee to Hinterzarten

You start your tour at the Kurhaus Titisee. Turn right first and walk down the left-hand side of the road into the spa garden. When you reach the bathing area, cross the road and turn left into the forest. Keep left until you reach the Titisee festival meadow.

The path now divides to the left at the top and to the right at the bottom. Take the path up the mountain. At the top, you will see the Jockelehof below you. From here, walk along the Winterhaldenweg until you reach a crossroads (Bergackerweg/Winterhaldenweg/Neuweltweg). Turn left here and then immediately right again onto Bergackerweg. Leave the road at the first junction on the right and you will come to Adlerweiher. Follow the Bahnhofweg for a few minutes to the train station.

From here you can take the train back to Titisee or walk back to Titisee. Trains run every 30 minutes and every 20 minutes on Sundays. You can use the trains free of charge with the KONUS card.

At the train station, take the first left up Adlerweg. Walk past the Parkhotel Adler on the right and then turn left. Now turn right and you will come to the Adler ski stadium. At the ski jump center, walk up the hiking trail to the right of the Rothaus-Schanze until you reach the Scheibenfelsen and the inrun tower of the ski jump. From here, follow the Westweg Pforzheim-Basel (red diamond) back to the Kurhaus in Titisee.
