This family-friendly tour runs along the Schluchsee lake. The Schluchsee, the largest lake in the Black Forest, is also the water sports centre in the Black Forest and has been one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Germany for years. This beautiful tour allows both relaxed and sporty cycling and is particularly suitable for families and senior citizens.
The tour starts at the Schluchsee tourist information centre, where you follow the local road downhill to the Schluchseehalle. Continue right along the Kohlgrubenweg (forest adventure trail) which leads you to the Seehotel Hubertus. Here you follow the cycle and footpath for a short distance to the dam wall. Cycle along the lakeshore past the Unterkrummenhof inn to Aha. The tour takes you on a path from Aha via the Bildstein and Stutzweg back to Schluchsee- Ort.

From Lörrach:
Take the train from Lörrach to Basel Bad BF, change to the ICE to Freiburg. Take the S-Bahn (S1) in the direction of Seebrugg, get off at Schluchsee
