When most of the bathers at Lake Titisee are slowly making their way home, you start your tour out of the hustle and bustle and up to the Saiger Höhe. After passing the train station in Bärental, you gain metres in altitude on a pleasant incline until you can enjoy a wonderful distant view in the evening sun on the Saiger Höhe.
Then it's a fast and steep descent down the toboggan run to the starting point in Titisee. If it's still light enough, it's worth cooling off in Titisee to round off the evening perfectly...
You leave Titisee via Seestraße and initially follow the lakeside path in the direction of Bärental railway station. Here you cross the main road and cross the Lidl car park before turning left onto the forest path. From now on, the route takes you past Hinterfalkau and then up and down to Saiger Höhe.
Once you reach this point, take a sharp left shortly after the sports ground onto the toboggan run, which is a favourite with sledgers in winter. In a very short distance, the metres in altitude that you have previously painstakingly gained are lost again and you find yourself at the foot of Lake Titisee. After the B317 subway, follow Seestraße back to the starting point.
