Trail with lowland agricultural views. Partly shaded, it will allow you to encounter a few hares or mini-hares, listen to the calls of numerous birds and perhaps some raptors looking for food. All without ever straying very far from the city. If you have pleasure, you can stop to eat in the village of San Carlo Canavese or move on to the larger city of Ciriè.
From St. Charles follow the trail to the Sheep Road, so named in memory of the herds transhumance from the alpine pastures. You skirt the military area and toward the bottom you can admire the prairie and moorland landscapes for which the Reserve was established. The return journey winds through the fields and hamlets of San Carlo.
