200 km of little used roads, villages, hamlets, lakes, morainic hills, lavish castles, and everything this territory can offer. The erratic boulders and the overwhelming nature of the Western Moraine, the Romanesque parish churches and the vineyards of the unique place that is the Serra d'Ivrea, the numerous lakes and the resulting microclimates that allow the cultivation of important vineyards such as Nebbiolo di Carema and Erbaluce di Caluso, the rural world of Valchiusella, the ceramics of Castellamonte without neglecting, of course, all the gastronomic specialties.
Variety distinguishes this route, biodiversity and habitats that can be explored on a path never excessively steep and which does not present technical dirt roads or excessively uneven terrain.

Bikes suitable for cycle touring are recommended, designed to have more load capacity compared to traditional bikes and wider tires that improve stability on mixed terrains such as trails and dirt roads.
Bike gloves help to have a secure grip on the handlebars by absorbing sweat, and they also dampen vibrations preventing the 'tingling' effect.
Sunglasses not only reduce strong light in summer but also protect from insects that can hit the face and eyes, and they prevent tearing caused by wind or descending.
HELMET: Although not mandatory, helmet use is highly recommended
TIRES: Check that the wheels are properly inflated; tire pressure is often underestimated as it increases safety and makes pedaling smoother
LIGHTS: If you plan to ride at dusk or at night, make sure you have front and rear lights, as well as reflectors.
CLOTHING: Clothes with bright or reflective colors are recommended to be more visible to other vehicles.
EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT: Bring a spare inner tube, a pump (or a CO2 cartridge), and tire levers to remove the tire. A small tool kit can be useful.
TRAFFIC RULES: Follow traffic signs, always ride on the right edge of the lane, and signal your intentions to other road users.
WEATHER: Check the weather forecast before leaving to avoid adverse weather conditions. In summer months, sunscreen is advisable to protect against UV rays.
By car, Chivasso is reached via the A4 motorway with an exit at Chivasso or via the SP11 Padana Superiore
To get to Chivasso from Turin, there are frequent trains from both Porta Nuova and Porta Susa stations.
Along the route, it is possible to find train stations at Ivrea, Rivarolo (slightly off-track, not far from Agliè), and Caluso.

For those interested, I recommend looking for information as the territory crossed is of glacial origin and witnessed the passage of the Balteo Glacier during the last glacial and Quaternary period.
