The round tour from Mollis to the Naturfreundehaus Fronalp begins with an ascent on asphalt roads in the middle of the forest, following route 302 Fronalp Bike. Once you reach 1389 m above sea level, a fascinating view of the Fronalpstock, Tödi, Ennetberge, Linth plain and more awaits you. You can also indulge in culinary delights and enjoy the sun at the Naturfreundehaus Fronalp. The descent is very leisurely over the sunny Ennetberge mountains on natural and gravel paths to Glarus. You return to Mollis along the Linth.
Mollis-Fronalp-Ennetberge-Glarus-Mollis
Normal bike equipment. Functional clothing is an advantage, as a long ascent is followed by an equally long descent.
Ride with foresight and behave respectfully towards other recreationists and road users.
Leave the A3 highway at the Niederurnen-Glarus exit in the direction of Näfels. Turn left in Näfels and drive in the direction of Kerenzerberg/Chur, after a few meters you will be in Mollis.
From Zurich to Näfels-Mollis hourly without changing trains on the S25.
You can park for a fee at the train station in Mollis.

The Naturfreundehaus Fronalp provides an e-bike charging station.
Chargers for the most common systems are available. If you want to be on the safe side, take your own charger and battery key with you.
E-bike charging stations Glarnerland
Divide up your battery on the ride. After all, you will cover around 980 m of altitude on the way to the Fronalp mountain inn.
