Up to the Largoz

From the parking lot above the Krepperhütte at 1,350m, you can go either via a rustic forest path or the forest road up to the Largozalm. Along this path, there are always beautiful views into the Voldertal and onto the Inn Valley.

At the Largozalm, you arrive in alpine pasture terrain and emerge from the forest – you now have the first unobstructed view of the Inn Valley and the opposite Karwendel.

After the last alpine huts, the path goes up to the left in a large bend past a small cross and continues up a trail towards the Largoz. Passing a small cairn, you follow the trail until shortly before the end it leads south over small rock slabs easily to the summit at 2,214m. Up here, a top-class 360° view awaits.

Returning, head a short distance along the ridge to the Glotzenkreuz of the young farmers. After the cross, again across alpine pasture and through Alpine roses heading west to the Largozalm. From there, either via the trail or forest road back down to the parking lot.
