The Grande Traversée VTT 'TransVerdon' logically begins on the watershed line between the Verdon and Ubaye valleys. The Verdon has its source here, in the vast cirque of the Sestrière, for a long journey of 175 km to the Durance.
The route starts from Col d'Allos, crosses the Baisse de Prenier, and descends via a magnificent trail to Val d'Allos – Le Village. There are no less than 6 kilometers of descent in the larch forest waiting for you: easy hairpins and others tighter, wide meadows, all mountain biking condensed here.
Do not forget this route is also a hiking trail and you share this path with other users.
