We are a family-friendly guesthouse in the small village of Kaning, which is 1000m above sea level. Away from the hustle and bustle in a traffic-free location and surrounded by beautiful mountains, we are the ideal starting point for hikes in the hiking world of the Nockberge. And ... our house is also directly on the * Alpe-Adria-Trail! * But also for bathing freaks, three bathing lakes can be reached in a few minutes by car.

But if you don't want to do anything for a day, just relax in a deck chair on our lawn and enjoy pure peace and nature.

Our rooms
Our cozy rooms are all equipped with shower / toilet, TV and balcony. A third bed can be provided if required.
A rich and varied breakfast lets you start your day of your holiday invigorated. And for a quiet end to the day, our rooms with balcony and our lounge offer the right cosiness. On request, it is also possible to order small snacks from us or you can use the refrigerator provided in the lounge.

Hiking paradise Nockberge
The gentle hills of the Nockberge are the ideal hiking paradise for seniors and families. Walk through the surrounding forests along cool mountain streams and well-maintained hiking trails and climb the peaks of our "Nocke". Enjoy a stop at one of the numerous alpine huts and feast on a hearty hut snack. Admire the wide views and just let your mind wander.

3 lakes - 3 x bathing fun
There are three swimming lakes within a radius of 8 km.
The Millstätter See, the Brennsee and the Afritzer See.
Like all Carinthian lakes, they have drinking water quality and in addition to water fun, there is a wide range of options for all types of water sports.

Panoramic roads for bikers
Do you love to discover nature with your motorcycle and ride winding roads? Then our guest house is the ideal starting point for your motorcycle tour! Not far from us you can reach well-known motorcycle routes and panoramic viewing routes. Or simply explore the surrounding area with your motorcycle and you will be amazed! The annual Harley Davidson meeting takes place in Faak am See in September. (located 30 minutes away)
