Crossing the Vosges Mountains - Stage 10 - Le Hohwald - Barr

From the town centre of Le Hohwald, you can take a small detour to see the Andlau waterfall. The trail then leads to Mont Sainte-Odile, a peak with a convent on its summit. Today, the mountain is an important place of pilgrimage, and food and lodging are available on site. The plateau of Mont Sainte-Odile is also surrounded by a "Pagan Wall". The trail then heads down to the plain and the wine-growing village of Barr.
