The Jakub Surovec Walkway

The route of the nature trail begins and ends on Zbojská Sheep Farm. It is a 4.7 km circuit with an elevation of 270 m. It leads through the wild nature in the vicinity of Zbojská saddle - the area where the legendary Tisovecbandit Jakub Surovec and his gang used to loot.

The most attractive for tourists is Čertova Gorge (Devil's Gorge), which in places resembles the well-known ravines of the Slovak Paradise. The nature trail is based on the rich robber past of the Zbojská locality. It will also introduce you to the local history, traditional ways of farming and using the area, natural values and local technical monuments.
